just hit up an ATM machine while you are on your way, in a populated area (im assuming the place this party is at is some backwoods town). with the ATM i think you get a straight up conversion rate, no extra charges. ive had bad experiences with the money exchange places...they like to steal money from you.

when you cross the border you can get it exchanged at the duty free place, no loss on conversion, straight up exchange......that's the easiest way to do it

or try to pay for as much as you can with credit card... I know it probably won't help much at WEMF, but for gas and stuff... credit card companies and banks will always give you the best exchange rate.

i second that.... it is the best way... i travel from chicago to toronto at least once a month... and that's the best way i've found.

you ARE going to get ripped off if you go there with all american money...


exchange like $100 US at the border.. that'll be like $152 canadian... that's PLENTY

What?! The duty free does not give the straight up rate. Not any of the ones that I have been too anywayz. They completely rip you off. Getting money from an ATM is probably the best way to go.

BTW, xe.com is a good place to go to find current exchange rates
