Discuss: Why do you party?
im in the works of writing an essay. i'd like to hear from other people so i can get ideas. assistance si vous plais...
(this should be one of those... pour your hearts out threads.  ) question: why do you party? (or why do u want to party?  )seriously... take a minute and think about it. how seriously do you treat your ravelife? is it worth the money you spend? are you able to predict when you'll be 'too old' for parties? are you part of the fad or part of the future? what is it about this scene? we have something... special on our hands, and we are the first generations to experience what we proudly call A RAVE. why do you party?

OH BOY....i partiE for lotsa reasons......to meet new ppl, fo rthe completely AMAZING music and djs, to be wif friends, to rekindle and old friendship/relationship with someone that lives far away and u guys never get to see eachother no matter how many goddam plans u make to meet up....ya and sometimes just cause i wanna let go and feel free

thats funny im writting an esay on rave culture right now.
i think it has comparissions with flower children of the 60's except at this point there is no war but theres that whole thing about loving the people no judging, everyone is freindly type thing. also the make love not war saying of the 60's can be today described as PLUR, they had their saying we have ours. why did i start parting, i dunno, for fun i continue because i love it, you feel so free there especially from everything in the world today, its an escape from reality almost. hope i helped you out |

I party for hot women with loose morals.
I wrote an essay comparing subcultures to one another... but it's such a broad subject... my essay was over 6000 words, and hardly scratched the surface of what I wanted to say. Try to find a specific theme and prove it.. I party because it's an escape from the attitude and "structure" of normal nightlife... there is no pretense, no posturing... everyone is "cool"... no matter where they're from, what walk of life, colour or creed... it's just good plain fun. I think that most parties are worth the money- our promoters are mostly out to throw good parties and make a good atmosphere for ravers. Unlike other places in the world, our promoters (CHRIS!!!) throw hype parties with little profit... Hope I helped a little... MCED |
