I posted some thoughts in this thread in the main forum...
My biggest problem with all the media accounts of raves, is that the term rave is used for just about anything illegal where ecstacy is being consumed. I don't really blame the news for thinking that this place was a rave after seeing the clip, but no one seems to realise that just like clubs and bars, there are good places, and there are dirty-ass holes that should be shut down (ie: Space, the Web, SpinCat). grr the media coverage always frustrates me because they make them sound evil and they don't even know how great they are! theres a conspiracy going on with the government and media, and the cops are in on it too!
why can't they just let us party, it's not like drugs don't exist at schools and clubs and malls all over the place! *cherry*bomb* 70727916 |

clearly they think we're more dangerous than we think we are.
btw, it's been said that the CIA distributed evil life-destroying drugs to the hippie culture in order to destroy it. likewise crack. there are hundreds of reasons why rave culture is bad for the mainstream. btw, there's more corruption on the 'good' side than the 'bad' side here. oh well. nice world. |
