pre or post-hulla algorithm march

Anyone down for doing an algorithm march video with me before of after hulla?

Heres some examples:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qDSGmx8c2AM (the individual march, then the march with ninjas)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WjMd2Vabcv8 967 inmates doing the algorithm march

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5spIAstmUqU algorithm march with airline workers

We could get featured on the kid's show "pythagoras switch" in japan.

that would be pretty cool at cherry beach after, but it would probably get done more correctly before the party.

If that seriously got arranged... It would be AMAZING. I can see 20 or so ravers standing in two lines with all our candy on doing that. I hope it really happens. Truley I do!!!

The reimix is pretty sweet as well. I like meeting at the square idea. I'm planning on bringing my video camera, and I would love to share the film with everyone once I edit it back home!!!!

What about doing it at the OH right at the beginning? All the other people and decorations would make a nice background. Is there enough room for that? Someone could just edit the music onto it later with a computer. I guess at least the first person would have to be listening to it on headphones to get the timing right.

Yeah, won't work inside. But along the street outside before the doors open would probably be good.

thats pretty cool lots of movements to memorize. if you watch the one with the english translations it makes it easier to remember but you can't sing it to yourself if you aren't goin on the one or the 3 of the beat of that song

this one is very clever:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U5mtcVkNtws

I saw on YouTube a bunch of various other groups doing (attempting) the march, almost all were very uncoordinated. If we're going to make this work WELL, we have to make sure we know the motions (there are only 8 of them, 2 groups of 4), and where each step falls within the song.

For example, each bar of the music has a beat count 1, 2, 3, 4.
Beat 1: step forward right leg
Beat 2: step forward left leg
Beat 3: first half of the motion
Beat 4: 2nd half of the motion

As long as everyone is doing their part on the correct beats, it will look good... MUCH MUCH better than a lot of the lame attempts on YouTube.

Aaaanyhow, this will be fun... and funny!

I love the Rube Goldberg machines at the end of each episode of Pitagora Suicchi

its really not hard, the only "hard part" is when you start off. You gotta make sure the person in front of you has performed the first move before you can start your moves. Every kid in japan knows how to do it, so should you!
