Explosions in London
If you've not already heard...
There has been a number of explosions around London, on the Tube and reports a bus being blown apart. I've just got off the phone from my friend who was working nearby. She has seen the bus and reports that it was ripped apart and bodies lying in the street, passers by attending to the wounded. Lastest report confirms it is a possible terrorist attack. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/default.stm Suppose to get our flight for Hulla tomorrow morning, hopefully the airports will not be affect. Though Hulla doesn't seem really important at the moment.

over 90 people injured so far after 7 explosions...
I woke up to this news this morning... I'm so upset, it's all I can think about... being originally from England, this hits very close to home... though I'm sure that most of my family is ok since most of them don't live in London, I can't be sure... my parents are really upset and no one can turn their attention from the tv... just like after 9/11, there are people with stories about how they slept in late and missed their bus or train, also people who didn't make it on the trains or buses and saw them explode.... my thoughts and heart go out to the people who weren't so lucky...

I was just there.
I'm frantically trying to txt and get in touch with my friends there, it seems most people are accounted for. |

don't panic if you can not immediately reach those you know in London. Part of the city's emergency plan is to disrupt cellular service to keep the radio frequencies clear for emergency services.
The latest report appears to be four blasts, down from the original 6 or 7 that were reported. Three on the underground, and one on a double decker.
