I am thinking of handing out glowsticks at the next Hulla, I dont know how many or what colores etc... But would it be okay for me to do so?

Post back I would like to hear what you all think.

well... you might be stepping on the feet of the hullastore.

Personally I either buy them ahead of time from a dollar store, or not at all.

I wouldnt do it on a large scale. Bring a few extras for "just incase" reasons. Thats what I do. And if I see someone who got a bum glowstick ill hand them a fresh one. But I only bring like 4 extras

for the next hulla I was thinking of bringing a bunch of sparklers and handing them out to people and telling them to light it during Frolic's set, just something Im working on... I think its a good idea if EVERYONE had one during his set to show love to the man who made hulla and my return to the scene possible with his parties.... ... just something Im playing around wiht

i think sparklers would be a bad idea...the premise is a good idea but

stupidly high kids + fire = bad idea IMO

glowsticks for all would be a goor idea...a good one too

good idea......cept i have a feeling it would be a bad execution.......as courtney said fire+fuckedupedness() could be a problem.....that and the smoke it would create would be a great way to get things shut down and send a few ppl away in ambulances.

Oh, and good luck gettin those thru the door.

Errr........... Sparklers.. sounds nice and would look great but maybe for a out doors venue....... I could see accidents happening as well, even possibly my self haveing a accident and I am no cluts. "I think"

But the glowsticks..... If possible I would like too bring a whol mess load of them and hand them out a few seconds before Frolic's set... I'm just hopeing to get a message from him or someone that knows the buisness before I do go out and buy a bunch.. I do not want to make the poeple running the Hulla Store plssed off, I would not want to kinda cut off some of there buisness buy handing out something they sell.

sparklers have been handed out in the past, to kids in the front row... i know cause i've gotten one, and i have a sweet picture of my arm holding it
generally they are handed out by someone(s) on stage, already lit, but i don't see why someone couldn't hand out a bunch of their own... you just might have to light them for people who don't smoke who wouldn't have lighters

glowsticks i think are a great idea.. i usually bring my own but end up lending them to someone.. which is why i also bring extras
i don't think anyone would get mad if you gave them out.. it's all about PLUR and whatnot, and i don't think they are really counting on the glowstick money to bring in the big bucks
plus, frolic's set is going to be last... so they will have probably sold most of what they're going to sell by then
i say go for it... i have a feeling this hulla is going to be amazing, with so many people planning on bringing so much special stuff to give/share with others

sparklers are a nice gesture but everytime I see them come out I always get worried sick the fire alarm is going to go off with the smoke lingering in the air so I'd rather not see them.

I have always brought like six pairs of glow sticks to parties, i would use them, then somebody would ask to use them and i'd be like here have fun there yours. At pac. sun this kid got such a kick out of that he came up to me like five times thanking me for giving him glow sticks, it was rad. And at the party i threw i ordered like 200$ worth of glowy stuff, and everybody got a real kick out of that. So, in closing
handing out glowsticks = good thing!

Yea that would be my first thought and then someone getting burned by an extremely high person lol The glow stick thing is good. Should try to give everyone one of the same colour. Show of unity ! Thats my thought.

Ok so no sparklers for safety concerns lol, as for glowstick idea, naha I don't think I wanna step on the foot of the people(goodfellaz) who sell them... so back to the drawing board.

handing out glow stuff is fun, and it makes people happy! i gave out some glow sticks and some photon lights at the last hulla and made some kids day. he thought i was crazy for giving out photons but i didn't care i had a lot of them for that reason.

okay im a bit late on this one, but sparklers indoors at raves...been happening since i started and prolly way before...back in 1999 at the Olympic Stadium in montreal shitloads of people had sparklers.....it was one of the most amazing things i ever seen.....
as far as hulla goes, chris says nay so there's your answer and as far as glosticks, steppin on people who sell thems toes, that's lame..
im bring surprises for people so if you wanna bring glosticks for people THAT ROX!!! way to spread the vibe
