means that even if you dont gots a ticket, if youre from outta town you can get a ticket at the door anyway even if its sold out. like last party i went to i came from NH. long fucking drive. i dont think the party was sold out, but we got in anyway if it was.

just so nobody reads this thread and gets the wrong idea... the out of town rule is NOT IN EFFECT for lost in space. if it sells out, do not come from far away without a ticket!! frolic can't let in a jillion extra people from out of town due to capacity issues.

After only 2 days and with 5 weeks to go we've already sold hundreds of tickets for our April 30th event and it will be totally sold out in advance. Due to the amount of out of town attendees we get these days it's impossible for us to continue the out of town policy as we can't risk hundreds of people trying to get in to an already sold out event. I'd hate to for them to travel all that way for nothing.

We don't know when the April 30th event will sell out but the only way to guarantee entry is to buy your tickets in advance. If and when we make a sold out announcement there will be no tickets left for the door whatsoever. You still have time.

I've updated the official FAQ with this new information so there's no confusion.
