lol kandi...beaded bracelets...shiny pretty things a lot of us wear on our arms...go to your local craft store, buy lots of beads and elastic string...make pretty bracelets to give away and you'll be beloved

Walmart you can get a bucket and I mean a bucket of beads for like 7.99, but do not get the shitty mix pack 99 percent of those suck, get the glow ones they are fun...but I warn you and you will be tempted to buy the 2.99 bucket of mixed SHIT......Pun Intended...LOL......


I remeber back 99 when I had them right up my arms past my elbows, one arm was to give away and the other was giving to me...

I have a tuperware container full of ones giving to me, it is a great experiance and fun to pass them around to others...

If you have never been to a hulla or any of the older style parties where Candy Kids where everywhere then this is something you want to a part of, in the AM it is quite neat to see some of the ones giving to you, with different shapes and sizes words and sayings...

True part of any "rave" experiance...
Have fun with it, my son who is now 7 use to help me, make them, he knew to count out 30 beads and make a pattern and then I would string them. Fun times for sure....He did not know what happened to the ones he made, but he would always ask after I came home from going out of town what "new Ones" I had and I would show him....

I'm a Hulla-Newbie. ^_^ But I will be a good one! So good... I might not even seem like a newb. *Cocky* But yes! Kandi for all! I've made a bunch... and a special one for Miss Gigglegirl! And regarding the cheap-bead post... Yeess!! I know, cheap beads are evil. I bought a 100-bead pack... for $12.99. WTF!? Good beads are expensive, but worth it. Waaah! I ramble on about nothing.

But yes! This is my first Hulla... and damnit, my last. It hurts.

I had plans for throwing my first rave underway before I had ever even been to one. You might think that sounds pretty horrible (and in retrospect I'm surprised it wasn't), but it actually wasn't that bad.

Been wanting to go to one since 2000ish, but could never make it out there before... untill now.... <menacing music>

My first party here locally was in '96... I stopped wearing candy around 2000. I'm still debating weather I should wear candy or not for Lost in Space - It could be social suicide if anyone back home finds out. I'm also debating if I should (I'm all about the symbolism) give away the remaining few bracelets I have lying around here at Lost in Space.

When I asked off work for Lost in Space, I told my employer that I had to fullfill my duty to the pillars of Islam and take my pilgramage to Mecca. I don't think they got it.

So yeah... I'm a long-time Hulla stalker, but a Hulla-newbie

NOPE! Waffle and I have EVERYONE beat. We officially joined the scene on March 26th. Which means our first rave was two days ago. It was a blast! We can't wait 'til all good things, it'll be our first and last. It's really sad, but I know we'll have a killer time! We can't wait to meet a lot of people!

We've been on the boards for a mad long compared to when we've officially joined the scene, but now we'll be living our lives like rave machines! We have a neat venue down here that's fun to go to. And the other ones I've heard of are pretty sweet, so yea. WHEE!

We'll make tons of kandi for all of you!
