I know a lot of people usually make tons of kandi for raves and trade them with everyone they meet(I know I will), but maybe this could turn into a huge bartering system. I like to make a lot of jewelry out of silverware, like bracelets and rings from forks and spoons. I could bring a bunch down. I'm not really looking to make money, but if anyone else brings cool stuff I'd totally be willing to trade.

i wasn't trying to be a jerk either.. i just think trading kitchen utensils is about as arbitrary as trading beaded bracelets.

I don't think I can cut hearts out of it, those holes I did with a drill press. I might be able to do a fork ring and bend the teeth into a heart.


well yeah, that's how bartering works. It's all arbitrary. I honestly don't care about giving this stuff away. It takes a little time to make, but people like it and that's what's cool. If I can get something cool in return, then that's cool too, but I really don't care.

drchwi, whatever dude, if you've got something cool to trade then that's awesome, but I'm just looking to get a bunch of cool random and unique things. I don't mind spending time to make stuff like this and give it away to make people happy, but by trading I'm trying to encourage other people to have the same mentality. Try to come up with something unique that people will think is cool and we could have some real cool trading going on at this party. Try to find some unique beads or something, or better yet, make some unique beads. or try to come up with a new design for a kandi or hemp bracelet or something.

I used to make wood rings a while ago, but I remember them braking pretty easily. I think I might try making them again and seeing if I can make them stronger.
