Opera House questions
Hey all party kids...
we will be travelling from way down south in Ohio and have a couple questions about the venue... we will be staying a few blocks away at a hotel, but don't want to be overdressed for the hot party atmosphere... will there be a coat check? Should we expect lines out in the cold before getting in? (if we get there around opening...) any other helpful hints about the opera house? We have been partying for many moons... have NEVER been to a Hulla event besides Hulla tents at WEMF... Lookin so forward to this event, Toronto here we come! PLUR! hahaha, how 90's are we? |

Hey ... opera house has a coat check...
not sure about the line.. i usually get there around 10 and have never waited in line... as for helpful hints.. bring money for the bar... also, refill your water in the bathroom... um.. if u smoke, smoke outside only... and also watch the stairs on the way to the bathrooms, they are SCARY thats all for now =) your helpful hulla boarder |

what time will you be arriving. Hulla tends to have a huge lineup that dissipates pretty quickly. If you get there around 11 you won't wait in line.

Well, the lack of line has a lot to do with us being organized at the door and making it a priority to get people inside quickly. You learn a thing or two about a thing or two after 8 years of doing this . I get extremely frustrated when I see other promoters doing it any other way.

Yeah, the line at the door is always really efficent.
Something I'd like to add... In ohio I never show up to parties until at least midnight because they are always slow to get started. Hulla gets going much quicker. Get there early

Its actually really really really nice out today though! If it stays this warm for tomorrow lines won't be any trouble!

hulla does rock as far as getting people in quickly...and the security is amazingly efficient also...if you're bringing lots of stuff (i.e. in a backpack or whatever) open your bag and get as much of it out as you can hold in your hands before it's your turn...moves things along much more quickly
and like kylefabulous said, the stairs going down to the bathrooms are super crazy...just wait your turn, don't push, and if any girls in your group are wearing a long skirt, advise them to pick it up when they're going downstairs...i've almost been killed a few times by over-anxious folks stepping on my hem and tripping me... have a great time!! hopefully see you at the last one
