Scratching has a place and a time, and with HHC it just doesnt seem right

I agree
I agree... i have a nice CD of dj out of the Pittsburgh Phillie area... Dez Drastic, Trapped on the Dance Floor... I acquired this cd in the parking lot after a SYST3M party in Detroit,... but regardless.. this cd was killer, and he does some hot scratching on the mix.. in several tracks.. and it is all HHC.. sounds great.. but i agree.. not everyone does it well.. at all !!!

captain cheddar from detroit implements some pretty fantastic sounding scratching in his mixes.. he also does beat juggling and other various tricks as well.. definitely fun to listen to.. |

i agree, i like cheddar's scratching, but i don't like that backwards crap. where he tries to juggle with rewinding a record or something. it ruins it for me.

dez sucks cuz he doesn't spin hhc anymore
Quote:
dez used to be a cleve fav all around now he spins house boo on house, oh well he's still a cool kid, and that cd does kick ass. Also i think the hhc and scratching do belong together maybe not all the time but i love hearing dj's scratch it up to the beats. And i know i'm not the best but hey dude i'm still new so its okay, but i'm getting better and really i'd love to hear more hardcore dj's scratch... |
