The arguement of " we're playing mostly upfront material and blah blah blah nonsense " shouldn't be allowed for this party. Their reasons were " how are you going to get new anthems if we don't play new tracks? ". Well, no more Hullas = no more Hullas to hear these " new tracks " again. ( not everyone goes to every other rave in Toronto )

So...in closing.

Play anthems. Almost all anthems. Yes! ( play that other garbage that's being pumped out today too...but the more anthems, the better )

I'd like to be able to run up to friends I haven't seen in years and sing tracks I haven't heard in years ( or, atleast since the Anthems party ). and just 3 anthems all night won't cut it. I don't mean Stay Here Forever and Heartbeatz. I'm talkin tracks from the beginning of Hulla.

It'd be nice.

The first song I ever heard at a rave was when I just got inside the docks at Funtopia 3. I think Silver1 was spinning and the track was a remix of the pacman theme. I dont think I ever heard it again after that.

i think pretty much all newer music has nothin to offer. In any genre. Hip hop, rock, country, electronic.
