my two cents:

if you know you can sell out anyway, i don't think a price hike of $10 or so would be evil in any sense if it meant that hulla could go out with a massive BANG. like, say, two rooms? multiple UK headliners? A-LA-98/99?

There are so many factors that making throwing large events impossible anymore, that's why they don't exist. As I said in another thread, we'll never "party like it 1999" again.
