Attending the Final Hullabaloo
Attention all those who wish to attend the FINAL Hullabaloo, on July 9th, 2005 (I realize it's way the fuck away in time)...
I am helping a number of ravers from different areas organize caravans to attend the final Hullabaloo. Quite simply it is an experience of a lifetime... it certainly changed mine. Do not let distance get in the way of living out a dream come true If you are interested in heading to the final hulla, contact me here or, even better, on purerave (www.purerave.com) and tell me whereabouts you live... I'll add you to the list for that area. I'm attempting to organize people who are driving and co-ordinate them with people who need rides. Additionally, when a group is organized I'll assist with finding hotel rooms for the group, and help smooth over the border crossing and organizing transport around Toronto (via metro... driving in Toronto is a bitch). The earlier we start planning the better and the more who want to go the more likely we are to be able to pull off YOUR region so let me know as soon as you can I cannot emphasize enough that this WILL be the night of a lifetime for every raver. And no, Frolic does not pay me for this :: Hulla got me into the rave scene that quite literally changed my entire life and I think everyone deserves a chance to experience that one last time. Newbies are more than welcome - there is no better way to enter the scene we all love. If you already have plans to attend, and have extra room in the car or are willing to help out in some other way, please also let me know - this is a group effort, just like every other aspect of raving. Thanks in advance. Now who wants to say PLUR is dead, bitches? ::

frolic better pick something bigger than opera house cause otherwise supply will not meet demand.

good idea.
but may i suggest that they have tickets BEFORE they leave, or get there VERY VERY VERY early? it's going to be sold out indefinately, and would really suck to have come all that way for a lineup that never ends

Hey there, were coming from Texas, and we wont be able to ride with folks cause were flying so that we can get there in a hurry, but the selling out of the party is our worry, this is our first Hulla, and were wondering how buying presell tickets would work, we would like to buy them in advance, but how early do they go on sale?, and since we would have to buy them from there, will they get mailed (option of getting lost in the mail) or is there a way to purchase them before hand and have them waiting? i would have to travel all that way and it be full, we would be getting there probuibly on thursday , which probibly isnt early enough , any suggestions would be appriciated, were trying to make this trip go as smooth as possible
thanks , ~*ChAsS*~ |

Miss Syrius.....tickets go onsale a few weeks before the event. You can purchase them through this site at the HullaStore. They can either be mailed to you or you can have them held for pickup at willcall. hope that helps.

I am curious to know why some of you feel the last hulla will sell out, if you haven't noticed rave attendance these couple of months have been slow and it is probably the reason why hulla is closing, so what makes you think magically everybody will be coming back for the last hulla?

because tons of people have STATED that they are coming back for the last one, i know a lot of people around here who are going to the last one, just so they can say they went to one....

So a couple of people say they are coming back for a finale, I doubt it will be enough to sell out tickets, heck Frolic will be lucky if he fills the Opera House

astralkid i don't think you realize exactly how many people will be travelling from out of town or coming back out to a hulla for the first time in years for the last one. It is the end of a legacy, i'm sure it will sell out, especially if it is at the opera house!!

The fact that there was a post on the Tribe message board (aka the Hullabaloo retirement message board) that stated most of the people who were on hulla back in the day and just other tribers stated that they would be ATTENDING THE LAST HULLABALOO. Now, I understand you are newskool and such, and of course you weren't around back when Hulla attendance was 2000+ people... but do you understand that word travels through the grape vine. People who stopped partying years ago will be at this thing. ITS GOING TO BE MASSIVE. Everyone will be magically coming back to hullabaloo. and now you have egg on your face again. here's a kleenex.
