Dougall - Should I care?
I never get a chance to hear any of the UK hardcore djs sets, I listen pretty much entirely to Toronto and North American djs when it comes to hhc/hardcore, and don't hear them until I hear them live.
So can anyone who has heard Dougal give me some idea of what to expect? Or maybe a link to a mix if you have one handy

I saw him at Get Hype and he was awesome. He and Dminus made my night. I am kind of disappointed that it wasn't someone else though just because of the fact that I'll be flying up this time and I already saw him last year.

Well Im sure you have heard alot of his production, (he made "Fires In the Sky" for example) reguardless of where the DJs you listen to are from. Look up his discography and see if you like that.
Im not a fan really, its getting trancier in Dougals world, and thats not my preference by a longshot. |

^ Man that Reunion party was so incredible!!! Skittles17 - ummm...I mean something OTHER than the new trancey shit. I would like to hear something older that EVERYONE knows and can sing along to. Kinda like how hhc used to be. = |

I know his production is amazing but I love Breeze's too, and...
I guess this doesn't mean we're gonna have a reduction in heartbeatzings... maybe Dougal is just being brought in to spin a live all-heartbeatz-remix set. Hold on, I have to throw up in my shoes. |

Really? I could have done without Jenna... just like that chick who sang live at hulla last year or so. Leave it to the DJ's I say. Paulina Taylor was better too IMO, but man, what a night. |

me too..that party was soooo good. And Jenna - a siren in that red dress [/nostalgia] as for now: Dougal is producing pretty trancy stuff, but he's definately got his own style, and since Gammer engineers all his stuff its got harder kicks and some wacky sounds that END and I lovingly refer to as "gammer noises". So it'll be trancey but harder than Hixxy/Breeze stuff. PS - I hope he plays all his Stefan B trax |

Dougal does play slower and trancier than most, but some of that new Essential Platinum stuff is utterly gorgeous. Tracks like 'Steam', 'Ordinary People' and 'Higher Than Heaven' make me cream my knickers.
