Why do you want to see the same dj that was here a month ago?

Frolic brings only 1 or 2 djs from the UK as headliners at each hulla, and Hixxy was here for the last hulla.

lol thats funny. I like Hixxy but the reason i went to the last hulla was to see someone i had NEVER seen before. I wouldn't waste my money if Hixxy was the headliner again. Unless of course Milo had still been playing but even then it would have only been to see him because..he's knew to the hulla stage. But anyways..i thought Hixxy was good last time but i'm happy someone new is there this time.

then that's why you shouldn't start threads asking why the guy who's been here twice in the past 6 months isn't here people will think you're either an idiot or sarcastic, and will treat you accordingly...i'm not trying to be mean, just letting you in on some hullaboard how-to
be excited for dougal...he was pretty good when i saw him last april at hulla...get really excited and camp out at the opera house if they ever bring back scott brown again |

Doesn't really matter. Every UK headliner always plays other UK DJ's stuff anyway.
I'm just excited, because Dougal's come out with pretty good tracks lately, and I love <3 |

Geebus Christ!! What kind of depressing beast has gotten ahold of your brain?!?!
Follow your inner child and stop concerning yourself with garbage like drama and politics. If you want everything to be exciting, then make it exciting. Every day is a new experience. No two days will ever be exactly alike. They're all new and exciting. If raving is no longer so much fun for you, I hate to be and ass (and don't mean to be one), but maybe it's time you left the scene. If drama and politics of the scene are your focus, instead of having fun and meeting people... the scene really doesn't need you anymore. Because you become jaded, begin to hate newbies, and end up drowning out everyone else's happiness as the grumpy jaded scene drama and politic obsessed people begin to outnumber those out there to have a good time. When something stops being fun and exciting, it's time to stop doing it. PLUR, Chip |

Say that three times fast, folks. So hey Chip, how'd you land that job being the Rave Scene's mascot? I tried out a while ago ... I heard a lot of other people did as well. Man, you must've really sucked a lot of cock for that promotion.

i don't remember kates saying that raving isn't fun any longer...it just changes...things get to be routine, you learn what to expect, and it doesn't lose it's fun, it just loses a bit of its novelty and luster. No two days will ever be exactly alike, but a lot of them are pretty similar. you're still new, and i admire your enthusiasm. But give it a year or two and you'll see what I mean. You'll never stop loving the scene or the people in it, you'll just get over yourself and the newness of it all and get into a nice groove with it. |
