Hi everyone. I was just wondering if any regulars could impart their knowledge to us newbies. And do's or don'ts or rave ettiquette... lol... any info like that would be helpful for those of us afraid to make a jack ass out of ourselve by doing something dumb.... thanks...

Do whatever you feel like doing... wear whatever you want to wear... act however you want to act... as long as you keep the happy vibe alive... make sure you don't swing glowsticks around on a string... which can hit someone in the eye... don't go around to random people asking if you can have a braclette.. it pisses many of us off... oh and don't say stuff like "OMG THAT DJ IS REALLY GOOD I WONDER IF HE WANTS TO DATE ME" heh

okay but the majority of party kids i know....they do e at their first party....then their second...and then their third...etc.etc.
UNTIL they NEED pills at every party..or it's not "fun" anymore....
or they start saying:"imma go sober at this party...."
when being sober isn't an issue to begin with....
because you should be sober in the first place....

that and why do we always have to fufill the stereotype?
you know that one stereotype in the media: that ALL RAVERS DO DRUGS!

why don't we take a stand and prove the media WRONG!
that we do have a utopia that isn't centering around the world of drugs....but is focusing more on being individuals/creativity/arts/ and free thinking......

so next time u pop that pill....
think about it...is it worth it?

now its really up to the person's choice....
i mean..people do have good personal reasons for dropping or doing e....
ie. mind expanding/ build up in confidence etc.etc.
but is that REALLY u? or an illusion that we create.....
cuz once that drug wears off....can u still maintain that image that you have created?


TRUST...usually people who get introduced into the party scene by the drug culture aren't in the scene for that long(from what i have seen from a far and viewed by many)...because they feel like the need to keep up with the scene..u must keep up with the drugs....so they tend to quit the scene and all and pursue other things

Nothing is wrong with going sober to your first party... I just didn't do it is all I'm saying.. I did however party sober for 2 years... from 2000 to 2002... but then found myself doing E again.. because me and my ex-gf... gf at the time.. wanted to do E.. but only if I did too... so I got suckered in by the evilness that is female... and nowadays.. find myself still doing E.. just not that often...

If I had to compare those 2 years to the way things were before that... or right now.. I'd pick partying on some form of substance.. it's way more fun than partying sober, in my books.

I find most people don't drink or do drugs but do do stuff at parties when they go once in a while.

hulla flu is THE most awful sickness ever....maybe second to AIDS. but i was so sick i couldnt go to destiny's "loving it", which everyone who did go told me was amazing...

i went to enchanted in december than 3 days later i went to london and i got the hullabaflu like the day before i went, i spread the hullabaflu to all of londons ravers lol...it was terrible

lol.. man i coulda used some info like the fucking bus station doesn't open on sundays til 8:30am.... it was so cold and even though the doors at union were open the security guards kept kicking us out.... til we met up with some kandi kids who had an in... then it was toasty...

Actually.. the subways don't open until 9:30 on Sundays... I thought everyone knew that... even if you don't go to raves.. heh I don't really mind... going to hulla while the subways are still operational... I take the subway from Dundas West to Broadview.. and then streetcar down to Queen... but since there are no subways after hulla... I take the Queen strretcar down to King/Roncessvales... then transfer to another streetcar going up to Dundas West station...

^^^ That's okay... The only time I've been to Hamilton was driving through it via QEW... on my way to Niagara or some place in the States.. I don't think I'd want to stop by in Hamilton.. all I see as I drive by are factories and smoke.. ick.

HEY NOW! I am from Hamilton... it isnt all factories ya know. I is actualy the nicest city that I have lived in... theres a lot of nature and non built up areas... hell I lived maybe a ten minute walk away from a huuuge forest, river and waterfall! PPl are always like ewwww dirty hamilton when really it isn't! Go there have a picnic... hehe then judge it! Anyways in respose to Toye

That how I am... I barely drink or do any drugs (minus a little weed) but will sometimes do them at parties. With that said I don't always do them at parties. I did take 1/2 an e at my first party but stopped there. That was because I was having anough fun anyways and didn't want to ruin it but getting really messed! That was 4.5 years ago... I agree though that if you start out ONLY going to raves high it is harder to go sober. It's not really the same. But it is still awesome. No one should feel like if they are going they should have to dose e to have fun! Little kids have fun all the time... more fun than we do as older ppl in fact! And they are never chemicaly altered!
