what to do while it rains?
I'll be getting in to toronto around 9AM... is there anything I can do to stay out of the rain easily? Maybe a downtown shopping mall or coffee shop that wouldn't mind someone just hanging around for several hours?
would I get any crap from customs if I have a bunch of beads with me? if I could find somewhere I could sit down to make candy that would be a useful way to spend my time... Also, is anyone else coming via greyhound I could hang out at the station and wait for so we could find something to do while its wet? |

Ok thanks for the tips... I'll probably change from my border crossing clothes to my party clothes at the bus station, hopefully I run into people going to hulla.

trust, you really do NOT want to go to comfort zone.
check out the eaton centre. lots of stores and places to sit around and chill, as long as you buy a drink or something. as far as customs and beads go, dont risk it. just buy some up here. you'll have a far easier border crossing that way.

^What he said. Comfort Zone is the last place you want to go... on Earth.

found the eaton center eventually then made it to Outer Space later on...
as for the beads, didn't have a problem. sailed through customs without the slightest trouble- just pretended like I was talking to a Marine Officer and my old habits kicked in immediately. "Good morning sir" makes a great intro to the nice customs officer. I think it was all of 20 seconds and he sent me on my way. didn't check my bag or anything. |
