there's no time, passports, hotels???? ahhhh!!!!
my friend finally got plane tickets to toronto and i'm not even sure if u need a passport. i went to ontario once but we drove there and all we needed was a birth certificate and ID. is it the same on a plane? hotels. is it common for hotels around the area to be booked up in advance? if so i gotta hustle.

drivers license and bc is fine to get into canada from the states by air. no passports are required.
I'm not aware of any big functions happening in the city that weekend that would book up all the hotels so that should be clear as well. |

If you have a passport its a good idea though, that counts for ID and proof of citizenship...
Though for enchanted my friend(Israeli citizen who is a legal resident) she needed state ID, birth certificate, passport and green card. Though coming back the customs agent just asked for state ID and green card... |

passports arent required for travel between canada and the u.s. regardless of what method of transportation you use.
although the u.s. is trying to change it, in violation of our 'open' border agreement.
