i just made my reservations for the days inn for friday and saturday night checking out sunday......total american b4 taxes 150.00

so yah,,,.......i have stayed there the most out of all the times i have been to hulla and i like it.....hojo is nice but days inn is my fav. closer to yonge and my favorite little cafe for breakfest sunday morning

oh jillabaloo...it isn't far from the opera house at all.....if you take a taxi its between 6 and 7 bux i think (canadian.-not sure where you're from) so yah its pretty close and there are always taxis out front of the hotel....

Thanks for the links. We are thinking about booking a room there. the only thing that sucks is 12 o clock check out...boo to that. Why dont they have hotels for people who like to sleep in????

I work for Days Inn....In Niagara Falls not Toronto but they are all mostly the same.

You can usually ask for an even longer late check out if the hotel isn't too busy.

If you don't have a credit card and you want to make a reservation, you can call 1-800-daysinn and they should make a 2 hour reservation hold without a credit card, so if you make it just before you get there you will have a room and you will just have to pay for it when you get there.

They will accept cash and walk in reservations, if you do pay cash you will have to give them a copy of your ID and be prepared to have at the least $30-$50 for a security deposit. You will get it all back as long as you don't watch any movies or use the phone.

DON'T park in the hotel parking...it is like 20 bucks a day. Park in the public parking lot across the street. I can't remember how much I paid and you just have to make sure you leave at 6pm the next day.

There is another Days Inn hotel which are a little closer to the Opera House. Days Inn Toronto East Beaches is right on Queen Street , it is smaller but another option.

If you call to say that there will be so many rooms book, alot of the time you can get a group discount if it is 5 rooms or more. I don't know if they have that option in Toronto but it is a good idea to find out if there are alot of people staying for the party.
