i went to a psytrance party once... it would have been fun if it wasn't so disastrous... i wonder if the dome still has that same crooked security?

i have another question why no jungle/dnb, or Dutch hardcore...sure the odd DJ comes on..But we need more stables in each genre...
U also gotta remember Hulla is essentially a UK Hardcore promotion...So thats mainly what they are pimpin..

I dunno, rotterdam wouldn't seem fitting to me... maybe i'm a noob and i dunno wtf i'm talking about in terms of what hulla "should" be, but what hulla was to me was amazing and i couldn't see it fitting in a way I'd like... I like a wide variety of hardcore, but it doesn't feel hulla to me. Jungle I can still see the same crazy spirit, especially crazy performers... I like JD's attitude every time I see him, he's always joking and playing around, and I thought he was wicked w/e, it's just my opinion |

We stopped booking gabber/rotterdam because except for a core group of very excited people, it just wasn't moving the party anymore.
Hulla is basically down to 4 residents now, and I've been rotating the others out to freshen things up a bit. With the parties ending at 6am nowadays, there's not as much downtime and less need to counter-program the night with alternate sets to break things up. We generally only have 2 non-hardcore sets, and at this event that's down to only 1 non-hardcore set. But the varierty in hardcore this time is greater as well. At the end of the day, we specialise in a certain type of music and party and can't be everything to everybody unfortunately. |

I realize Hullabaloo is a fairly specialized event, but I'm sure there is still room for a little more variety in the lineup. The party does only go till six but it also starts an hour earlier. I've been a long time Hullabaloo supporter and the variety is what has kept me coming all this time. As much as I love Hardcore, it was nice to hear a something different throughout the night. I think Chris is gonna wait to see how "God's Must Rave" will do and then perhaps re-evaluate his position

I don't blame him. I don't think I can handle 1000+BPM though... I might be out of a job. |
