Favourite Flier...
The "Stay Here Forever" flier features each flier from past Hulla's. Which is your favourite?
Mine is "Get Hype" by far...just something about it that makes me happy.

I'd have to say the parties from the 1st year of Hulla are the best... they have that old skool Slammin' Vinyl vibe....
Yes Jory does a badass job on the new ones but those old ones are just so vintage... who designed them btw?? Steve

I liked Digital Outlaws....
Power of Dreams was a cool one too... Hell they're all awesome in their own very unique way so it's hard to pick only one.

I like the colours on my flyer as well....its all about colours !
12 flyers are mostly blue 1 is yellow 1 is lime green 1 is light green 5 have purple backgrounds , font or objects on them 2 have trees or forrests and are not computer graphics 1 has a green rolling hill with blue sky, 1 has a forest in the background 1 has lots of green with dark background 2 are black with bright colours on them 1 is a blueish purple with golden orange therefore.... more red/orange is needed! I really like the Foreverland flyer 'cause there's a nice dreamy/fantasy like concept behind it and it's well layed out.
To me, it really captured the feeling of escape my friends and I got when we went to parties. The original flyers were designed by some guy called Nuno I believe (he also designed the first ATM flyers, Reunion '99). I think the story goes that he was a buddy of Frisky's but he moved to BC or something so an alternate designer was needed. I think Jory's designs, creative direction aside, are representative of what hulla parties are today, not what they were at all though. |

yea.. some of the origonals are just so much better imo.
not that elixer doesn't do an amazing job, but i like to look of the old style flyers. when adobe didn't have 904750947045790 different plugins

now to quote moondancer: therefore.... more red/orange is needed! I do love blue.. and green and purple.. but yes you are right.. .. ok so the next one will be more orange or red ( I don't really like designing in red that much for some reason ) as for that old rave flier look. I agree.. I miss when you had the freedom to go wacky / crazy with dreamy lost fliers.. I'll take that into account for the next flier trazit
