The Next Funtopia...
Is the next big hulla (in february) going to be called funtopia? And if so, does that mean that Funtopia 4 & 5 are going to be held in the same year?

I LOVE headliners.
But the lack of headliners at the parties ive been going to lately has only made me appreciate our locals so much more. We've got a lot of talented dj's spinning their hearts out weekend after weekend...and I think they deserve a lot of credit and respect. Like i said...i love the UK bigboys...but a party with just locals can be just as great. The last hulla is proof of that. |

Seriously. If any of your "locals" were to come to our city, where we have like no HHC, they would be considered a big headliner.

Yeh... your locals come to our parties and ARE the headliners. (I loved Silver 1's set at a local club...there's nothing like a 2hr hhc set!) You should really appreciate all the hulla residents and other TO locals. They may not be from the UK, but you get top-notch talent all the time that the rest of us get the chance to see once in a while. I loved the last Hulla and I am SURE I will love all of the upcoming ones as well!

Toronto locals are just as good as lets say Vinylgroover(boy I wish he still spun hhc!) but for me it comes down to "respect" for those UK producers, I want to see the guy who made the tracks, type of thing. But yes, if Frisky were to come to Ottawa I'ed be a happy boy cause between him and D-Minus, they're both usually who I look forward to most at Hulla's.

TO local are headliners here!
You guys are complianing about hearing locals at a party. Well try and live in a little place like St CAtharines. Our locals well it is mean to say but they all suck. WE don't even have real parties here we are forced to go to TO to listen to good music. To top it all off you could never hear a hardcore set ever, it's like it's banned in our city they just won't play it. It's hard to be a candykid in a place like this.
