^^^ you and the rest of the kids in alternative education...
programs like that are designed to be accelerated... therefore your chances of finishing a little bit earlier than your class... is pretty typical... not so weird afterall... also i graduated a year early... but b/c i skipped a grade.... |

It was unexpected for me because I'd failed most of my classes during freshman and sophomore years, so in addition to doing my junior and senior classes, I had to redo the majority of the first 2 years as well. But without all the other deadweights in my classes making it so brutally boring, I was able to plow through the work.
Really, it's a damn shame I didn't force my parents to put me on home study in my freshman year. I probably could have graduated when I was 16. |

I started my senior year at the age of 16, but that was also because I skipped a grade when I was younger.
Ten years ago in 97' I was 13 yrs old. I had just started my freshman year in high school and my cousin was hit by a car on the first day of school and he passed away a few short days later. He was huge into music and that is where my love for music came from...shortly after he left us I started listening to hardcore. It wasn't for another two years before I made it into the scene though.

my boyfriend, Will, also finished highschool in a similar fashion... he used to have to drive 75 miles ONE way... so 150 round trip for all you mental giants... just to get to his alternative ed program... he lived in a rural area of western michigan... and that was the only private alternative education facility around... but he did manage to get a diploma after not having done ANYTHING in high school the years prior! and graduate on time at that!... |

wow.. 1997? I turned 11 years old.. We had only been living in our house for a few years by then and my little sister had just turned 2. I was in 7th grade and had just become bestfriends with the boy who eventually become my first boyfriend [wow it's crazy that it's been that long!] I didn't have many friends in school and was even then thought of and "weird" and "creepy". I was also the shortest kid in my class!
Oh yeah and I was -obsessed- with Sailor Moon =-D

There are people that had been partying for five years by the time 1997 rolled around.
Some of them will be at OMGH.
