Will the Opera House be accepting Health Cards as a valid form of ID, or am I going to have to dig up my passport?

yeah i heard a couple years ago that they were being assholes about quebec id's not accepting medicare or drivers licences

Try and use your passport, but you shouldn't have a problem with your health card. It's only in the club district that they're being assholes about that.

Because alot of venues (and i do meanALOT) don't accept HCs. I'm not sure about the OH, but if you have a passport, you may as well bring that because you know 100% for sure that you can use it to get in.

A health card is NOT a valid form of photo ID, unless if you're going to a doctor.

They're legally not supposed to take it as ID, but most places will anyway. The only place you'll run into big problems with it is in the club district.
