Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas Almost Famous Run Lola Run Requiem For a Dream I like watching stuff like Indiana Jones and Star Wars, too. Picking a favorite is too hard. |

too many people's favorite movies are less than a decade old
it hurts me (as a movie fanatic) to see the lack of appreciation for the classics the best movies came out of the 80s (or before).. NO question about it.. everything is just too damn "hollywood" now. They stopped worrying about good scriptwriting to focus on special effects. Horrible. Entertainment butchers. |

I know its an opinion thing. But I think its mostly attributed to the "new release" sections. When people go to Blockbuster, they tend to check out the new titles instead of wandering through the dusty aisles.

Dude, Fight Club or Party Monster.. those movies are amazing.. and American History X.. that was suuuch a good damn movie.. great message.. and Edward Norton.. god, he is a brilliant actor..
