Snuffy

ARgh. Think of all the recordings and things in the scene that are irreplaceable. Sure, you can go to HMV and buy a replacement copy of The Best of Blondie, but your fav hardcore tape by DJ XYZ, records, pictures, that whistle from your first party.. gone.

I was lucky enough that when my aprtment caught on fire I could save some(not all) of that stuff. The loss of my funky silver room and my furniture was enough to prompt a move to the other side of the continent in pure bitterness and rage.

I felt like I was being erased. I burst in tears when I saw the same table model I once had in someone else's dinning room. My friends in Vancouver could recite the decore of my old room in Toronto because I couldn't stop talking about it around them. I was nuts.

My heart goes out to ya Storm. At least there's one really good thing.. yur alive. Some others arn't so lucky. I hope things go well and u win the lottery or something. After something this horrible, God, if there is one, owes you big time.
