Candie into Canada?
I'm sure this has been asked before, but I couldn't find it anywhere.
But... I am flying in from Los Angeles next week and plan on bringing lots of candie. I also wanted to bring some bags/boxes of beads to make on the plane there. Does anybody know how difficult this will be to do? Will customs and the airlines give us a difficult time for having candie? I don't have anything else but clothes and essentials, so I don't see how they could justify giving me a hard time, but you never know. Help is appreciated! |

hmm on the plane i don't think it'll be a problem.. i mean i would store your already made candy in your checked luggage and bring the stuff you wanna use to make the bracelets in yoru carry on backpack. but it shouldn't be a big deal. i wouldn't advertise it tho.

Um customs know candies are synonmous with raves and think it all ravers are drug carrying addicts... don't risk it.

just make sure you don't bring anything that could be considered drug paraphanalia like a pacifier or rolling papers. They WILL give you lots of shit for those if they find them ... beads shouldn't a problem though. Make sure you have all the identification you need, are respectful, and don't lie when they ask you questions and it should be pretty easy

You wont have a problem at all.. I had a full sized backpack full of beads (forseriously... that's all that was in there) a few months ago when I was on the plane. Every color was in it's own baggie
... Just make sure to pre cut the elastics or strings you plan on using |

Give yourself 6 hours for when you are searched and detained and everything will be fine.. just don't use words like, Spin, Dj, Records, Rave, Fun, I'm American, ... jk You'll be fine
