My Big Crazy Hat

I've decided I will retire my big weaver hat, since hulla inspired it, it will be forever locked away in a treasure chest (ok a drawer) for me to look back upon. BUT, I have devised a cunning plan. I will try to purchase ANOTHER hat, just like mine, and buy a felt tip marker and let everyone sign it the night of last hulla. This means that 1) the store i bought it from (dollerama) has to still sell the hat and 2), 2 is a question, will security take a felt tipped marker at the door?

Any input is appreciated, thanks!

if the big hat is such an important symbol of Hulla, wouldn't it make sense to have people sign that one and not a new one? I mean, what better way to go out than to have everyone sign the famous weaver hat. I don't really see why you would ever wear this knew one ever again, so why would you retire 2 hats?

Yea I would think the original one would be the one you would want people to sign. But at the same time, you want to keep the original one the way it was at the parties. IDK. Either way, I think it's a pretty cool idea. That hat is how I knew who you were. I see it all the time and it's like your trademark. Rock on.

yeah hulla security is pretty good about letting people bring in "marking devices" (here in california you can't bring in pens to have people sign your books, or even stickers...markers are a HUGE no-no)...just make sure no one takes it and starts scrawling on the walls with it

depending on the mood of security, they may or may not let makers in..
after all... they ARE sometimes worried about grafitti and whatnot
