Neuromancer is such a great book, I just gave that to one of my friends to read.

Yeah, gav, just think up some concept that's meaningful to you and then find words to describe it (see my description behind Metabolic Chimera above). And if you can't or don't want to do that, just come up with something random and/or funny. Just by looking at your avatar I thought up DJ Jawzolife. Thinking up a DJ name isn't hard for me, it's choosing which one I like the most that's hardest for me :P

wow thats alot of thought put into your names! guess i will have to ponder over the matter for some time...

go frolic great to see you made 10years

Maybe ill just go opening up my dictionary to random pages and put words together till i come up with something. . . would be easier if i had monkeys with typewriters to do my bidding. . . ahwell!

as thy say...

if you lock one thousand monkies with one thousand typewriters in the same room.. they'll eventually write the best book ever conceived.

come up with an idea. . . just "testin" it on people to see what they think!

its "refrakt" ~ because when light refracts thru a prism it makes a rainbow. . .n it sorta fits with HHC/kandi n stuff!

so what do ya think? should i take it up?

that statement never made any sense to me. given an infinite length of time, the number of monkeys is irrelevant.

nonetheless..... http://www.vivaria.net/experiments/notes/publication/

^ about:
Notes Towards the Complete Works of Shakespeare by Elmo, Gum, Heather, Holly, Mistletoe and Rowan, Sulawesi Crested Macaques (Macaca nigra) from Paignton Zoo Environmental Park (UK) was produced in response to the familiar idea that if an infinite number of monkeys are given typewriters for an infinite amount of time, they will eventually produce the complete works of Shakespeare. It was translated to a computer environment, producing live updates published on the web, alongside a webcam view of the production scene showing the creative activity in its fuller context.

it's a pretty good read, for a 4-page book.

In 2000 I was pretty careless and got banned for entering the US without a work visa. The ban was for 5 years but I've since been granted a waiver which allows me entry. The ban itself expires this August.

If you think new hardcore is expensive, don't ever get into spinning or collecting oldskool like me...can expect to pay $50 or more for a lotta classics (unless you really hunt for bargains).

I've still only got a small collection...around 700 or so, spanning a wide range of genres. But it's probably worth at least about $20000, at approximate market prices, cuz it's loaded with rare classics. Maybe even more than that, depending how much my test press of Phuture - Acid Trax is worth (somewhere between a few hundred and a few thousand, depending how many tests were done, if it's from the first pressing). And that's with having been unemployed for most of my DJing career so far (been DJing about 8 years, and worked for 1.5 years total (3 different jobs) during that time). If I had a good job, I'd have to buy a warehouse or something to store my records in.
