so apparently my body decided it didn't want me to go to hulla, and i have been in the hospital since saturday with an infected gallbladder -- i had emergency surgery on sunday though, and they're letting me out today. i won't let such a minor detail keep me from hulla (greyhound leaves tomorrow!), but i was wondering about the policy on bringing in prescription drugs. i am on a pretty strong prescription of percocet, and would need to bring some in with me (i have to take it every four hours). would that be allowed? is there someone i should contact in advance?

p.s. nobody hug me TOO hard. :-/

well i found this in the FAQ..

Will they let me bring in my medication?
Most labeled medication shouldn't be a problem, but this will be at the discretion of the security searchers.

knowing security, that doesn't exactly reassure me....

Generally, you can bring them in as long as your name is on the bottle and the pills look legit. Security is run by the opera house however, and to be safe I would suggest giving them a call and running it by them beforehand. 416-466-0313
