i really hope there can be enuf people to fill the docks, but its kind of like a kick in the ass to the opera house which has housed the party for a while.
unfortunately im a newer character in this scene and the opera house is all i know for hulla. i think the opera house needs to be seen out just as well as hulla but im sure the docks might get considered because an arsload of kids will come out of the woodwork for the burial of hullabaloo

never back to the docks
ever its only suiting the keep the last parties at the opera house imo Athena and the gang there kept hulla going and provided us all with a refuge through some of the most trying times.. I think it's only fit to say our farewells at the place that kept the vibe alive for so long. Having the last hulla at the docks would be like having the last Industry night at System Sound Bar... just doesnt work

I would fucking die if the last hulla was at the docks!
But it would be waaaay too expensive and risky these days.

Despite the huge costs/risks of running at the Docks (not to mention that I heard all ages events there can't run all night), it wouldn't even be available for the last Hulla because Docks runs their own club nights during the summer months.

I think the number of people who'd come out to a last Hullabaloo at a two room venue, just like the old days would number in the thousands. I'd like to see it somewere spectacular, and hulla-worthy... even if it means renting somewhere in the CNE or something.

Make it an outdoor party, in a field or something.
That would be fucked up. ::

Well maybe not the Docs but not the Opera House for the love of god!!!
EVERYONE wants to goto the last party, people who said they would never goto a hulla again are coming out to this. It has to be a large venue or it will the WAYYYY to packed and not everyone can get in. |

I agree I think it would be a mess at the Opera House for the last Hulla-they should just charge a little more at the door for a bigger venue I'm sure no one would mind paying for it, I know I wouldn't!

I spoke with the Docks, no "all-ages" parties there can run all night. Take that for what it's worth. Plus we'll never "party like it's 1999" ever again and trying to reclaim past glories is not a viable option, imo.
