I dont know how the young ones get into Canada anymore...you might consider crossing over at Port Huron....i've heard they are a little more lax there....but i dont really know for sure

no it's a good idea. whenever we drove with friends under 18, they always brought a note from their parents... or from their "parents"
or if you really dont think you'll get across just take the greyhound. its just sooo much easier to get across when youre on the bus in general. more expensive tho...

Don't know about the age thing, but I can tell you don't take the Ambassador bridge OR the tunnel. Take 94 E all the way to Sarnia, customs there is much better.

this site has phone numbers so you can call where ever you're planning on traveling through. i bet they'd be able to answer any question you have. i don't trust customs people tho, so if they ask your name age, or when youre going to be going, make up something, you never know if they're putting you in the computer, just waiting until you actually come through so they can rip your car apart and cause all sort of unnecessary delays lol... im sure they prolly wouldn't do that, but i hate going through customs, so i always assume/prepare for the worst

i always take the bridge and never have any issues but it sounds like we may be crossing at sarnia this time because there are going to be like 15 of us

um be careful if you bring a note from your "parents" (assuming you put it in quotes cause it wont really be your parents..)
they may call them to confirm the note? i've heard of this happening but it may just be rave gossip |

lol... yeah, if it's your "parents" maybe you should set up a friend who's willing to be your "parents" if the phone rings
