whenworking with sound it is better to have the board tured up and the speakers down that the board can handle the left over and the speakers will not go past heir limits. this way it provides better sound qulity wich people want to here not quntity.
i cant spell lol. i was a sound tech for a couple of years.

are you on glue?
simple logic proves blows serious holes in your theory (ask anyone who TRUELY knows what they are talking about when it comes to PRO sound.. not studio, home or car sound.. yes. .there is a big difference) 1 - when you max out a mixing board (of any type), the output is almost always distorted - they is NO fix to this except turn the levels down on the board. If you send a distorted signal FROM the mixer, there is no way to clean it back up. you're fucked from there on in. 2 - turning down the volume controls on the amplifiers is not advised. they are NOT volume controls. they are input level controls. per say, you have a dial that goes from 1-10 (with 10 notches). When you have the volume at 10 (full out), you are letting whatever signal goes into the amplifier to come out. When you back it off to say... 5, you are limiting the input signal by 1/2. You are NOT turning down the level. they are NOT potentiometers. Those knobs LIMIT the signal, which means, they compress the input signal, causing a small bit of distortion (almost inaudible, but it's there). as for putting your speakers past their limits, that should all be handled by the compressors/limiters... (or digital processors). But.. you already know all this right? Because you were a sound tech. You remind me of a guy named Curtis that worked for TKO Sound. Didn't know shit about shit, but he thought he did, because he worked in the industry for a few years. The only reason people kept him around was because he could haull shit around, and finding some lackey to slug speakers for a mere couple bucks a night isn't easy. Next time you want to talk technical, do yourself a favor and research.. it'll save you some embarrassment

I don't feel like letting bitches like you who are high on their own fucking smell walk all over me. So get the fuck off my case, spelling queen. I didn't spell flyer right. Oooohhh noooooo! I'll remember to put everything through a spell check for you next time!! Wouldn't want to hurt your little eyes with bad spelling.
