Well, this will certainly be a memorable night for me, as it's the first chance I've had in almost seven months to cause a ruckus with the Hullabaloo crew, but then again it ought to be a memorable night for us all.

Not just 'cos it's Hullabaloo, and every Hullabaloo is not just an party, but an occasion. It's also right at the summer that I think will prove to be Happy Hardcore's biggest summer in history. The music is coming in to a new rennaisance that we haven't seen since I started partying. There's a new batch of local talent coming in to its own- people who started partying four or five years ago are becoming the DJ's who were bigger than life when we started out. The jaded ravers are all but gone. The 'oldskool' kids still kicking around are out to live it up like we used to. The newbies are fresh, with no clue what they're in for, just like we all were at our first Hulla. The vibe is coming back to Hardcore, and we're right in the fucking centre of it.

This summer will be remembered as the summer of Hardcore. This will be the one that ten years ago, you look back and remember the best damn summer of your life. Live it up, enjoy every single minute.

Let's lay down any personal politics. Let's forgive our grudges. Let's get more fucked and get rocking. Let's look after each other, and rave like only we know how. Let's make every night an adventure in music and ourselves. Let's make this the greatest Hullabaloo in history, then July's even better than that.

A Hullabaloo raver said to me very recently that he doesn't go to parties any more. Only raves. That made me smile, 'cos it's attitudes like his that are what make me never want to stop.

Let's make Sail Away the best night of our lives. Who's with me?

I go into every hulla with the hopes that it will top all the hullas before it... Some do and some don't but either way it's gaurenteed to be an amazing time. Even though a lot of ppl I want to go to sail away aren't going I still think it will be a blast... One for the record books??? That depends on the vibe that everyone brings with them =) I can't wait to see breeze though... That alone will make my night!

^^ seems to be a common story, at least from what I'm seeing

everyone and their newbie dog seemed to be there for Accelerator... this one, seems to be less general excitement around it.
altho, actually, i think more of my aspiring-raver associates will be there than at my other two hullas... i dunno, maybe it's just how im personally feeling? i'm distracted by other things and not squealing with excitement in the same way.
ahhhhh, but another thing, a lot of university people gettin' their exam on this time around, some of my friends are being forced to pass it up as a result.
