ok... so like, it's really good design work,
but i dont think it works for a flyer.

to me it looks more like an advertisement for a sailing exhibition at some childrens museum.

on the other hand, i know it will be a sick party whether i like the flyer or not, so meh

i don't hate the flyer, but it doesn't exuberate (is that the right word?) the happy cheesy colorfulness i usually think of when i think of hulla. and i definitly imagined something very different becuase my thoughts were sort of stuck on the song... i imagined something more along the lines of a super blue sky or something. i dont know, im a musical theatre student. i don't know anything about design. im not opposed to a pirate theme tho. pirates to me say peter pan. and that was one of my favorite stories when i was little, and the ideals of happy thoughts and never growing up are pretty close to my heart, so im cool with the theme

im sure its going to be a great night, whether some of us like pirates or not. too bad this one doesnt fall on international (universal?) talk like a pirate day or whatever... hehe

thank you!... honestly the flyer is pretty lame from an advertising point of view... I mean its a good job...but I know a Hulla flyer can be much better than this. (more enticing)

The model was a good idea but there could have been more emotion in her. More colours, more pirates jewels and tresures, swords and barrels...I mean HEY you're payin for the flyer you might as well JAZZ it all up right?

But what do I know..Im only an Advertising graduate
