Has anyone else noticed that there has been a huge decline in posts in the the accelerator forum in the last while. I mean I know that after a party everyone posts like crazy because they have just left a party and there is lots to talk about and then after a while it settles down. But since 2 weeks after FITS it has seemed to stop all together. Ah well everyone is probably busy with the holidays and everything. I just hope this isn't an indicator of the turn out for the next hulla event.

We're near 400 posts, and still more than 6 weeks away. That's great numbers. It's the middle of the holidays. I'm only starting our regular promotion NOW (just put flyers out in stores today, no one except Outer Space has had them till now). I'll be doing the mass e-mail for the party next week. I purposely allow a little downtime between events. If we didn't release the flyers at the last hulla, you wouldn't have heard a PEEP about this party until new years eve at the earliest.

Our February Hulla's historically do very well, it's a great time of year for everyone to come out. No holidays, exams, or anything. Last year I was in Australia and we only had 4 weeks of promotion and still packed the place .

and kids going home from college...i know i'm not sitting around on my computer hullaboarding in lieu of writing papers or studying at home like I am at school...i get to work my butt off at home, thus less time to board...i'm sure i'm not the only one, eh?

Now that I lost my job, I'll have LOTS of time for Hullaboarding

Hopefully I find some other job soon so I can still do Accelerator. Although it is awfully tempting to just take off a la Enid in "Ghost World." Maybe I'll head to Canada to be a nomad/raver/bum for good!

My first Hulla it was not very crowded. Then following that Frolic made a post about how Hulla was gonna shut down if things didn't pick up next party, but they did.
