Woah.. 100 deposit??
Man, I always stay at the HoJo on Metropolitan Rd. 79.95 a night, I ask for a late checkout usually an extra $10.00, and they give us till around 2pm.. I'm normally not out of there until 3pm.. never had any problems.. Though I did stay at the HoJo downtown, near the Opera House, it wasn't too bad, but the elevator was a little disturbing.. |

^^^ i thought the elevator there was sort of cute... in an old fashioned possibly dangerous sort of way.

the $100 deposit is for the kids that don't have a credit card to use at check in...you don't have to put the bill on your card, you just need to leave them something so they know you won't run out without paying...i've had to help some friends out in the past who didn't have that cash or a credit card (everyone should have a credit card, even if you don't use it, for emergencies such as those!!!!)
and i've never paid anything extra for a late check-out at the HoJo on sherbourne, and we usually get ours for around 1, check out by 1 but are never outta the room till at least a half hour after that...woo cheating the system!!!

I think everyone should stay in the same hotel and have one huge after party there. That would kick ass. Unless there's already some kick ass afterparty going down??
I dunno. Just an idea. I'm on my 26th hour of fasting. Unless you count the three chocolates I ate at about 1AM, in which case it would only be hour #22. Wish me luck! And no, this is NOT some crazy crash diet for Hulla Also - which hotel is easiest to get to from the Opera House? I have an annoying propensity for getting lost. |

so staying there officially two times and unofficially once means no experience? Psssssh. i've been at the best western the rooms were okay at best...the fold out couch in the suite was so uncomfy i had to sleep with my head at the foot of the bed to get any rest, but i was grateful to have a place to nap so *shrug* the days inn has pretty fun rooms...not much room for extra people (and yes it's across from mickey finn's), but it's much more expensive and it's nothing spectacular. we've had to use a card to bail out other people...which as far as i know never got deducted. we didn't have any bad experience with dirty or smelly rooms, you get free breakfast in the morning (i always want juice and a croissant after a party) and you get the morning paper and even tho stevan is pretty hot...there'a a lot of other reasons we stay at the hojo...the rooms are bigger than the days in (you can have people sleep in the walk in closet!) and we've never run into problems "sneaking people in". we recently got a room for 68 american which split 4 ways is a dream. we had more people stay with us at the days in and it was more money. of course we're there for a comfy after party chill place....so for those who want to keep on partying, then maybe the hojo isn't the best option. so out of those three places...i would still vote the hojo

actually the hojo and the days are the same right now....its all about when you book the room and where and who you go there....i didn't say that once or twice didn't mean you didn't have experience but actually the rooms at the days inn are about the same.....and if you book a king room with one bed *at the hojo* its mega smaller than the days inn.......the one we had was a king wiht one bed and the room was half the size of the ones at the days inn...everyone is entitled to their own opinion so wherever you stay you stay and at least you have a room to crash in.......just diggin on the days cuz of the three joints i stayed in there its the most convenient and the price is great....
