The Reasons
OKay well This is Kind of a Reply to What ????? Said about Raves Being dead simply it can be stated that there havent been any true Raves in This area SInce The Docks got Shut Down and yes I do know that you are thinking What about Nightmare, WEMF, DEMF, Nightmare, And yes even Hulla, etc. those are simply Parties Mind you they are Big fucking parties and yes they are in the Rave inspiration but are they raves?, No! I just said that They are Parties, personaly I think the Last Partie that I would consider a Rave was in Badin Badin, Germany Where there was almost 4000 Kids all Dancing and Having fun, Drug Free might I add all of us in A big Warehouse and Two circus Tents outside 4 days, All Rotterdam, Gabber, INdustrial, Synth Pop, and Hardcore, along with Some Jungle DJ from the UK who's name escapes me at the time being...
This is A rave Not just a Party, Parties are Regulated, Raves are Non-Regulated and in the end Ultimitly Isn't The only Difference in the long run just a Name to most people? Oh I feel A Shakespearian Quote Coming on (I'll Spare you) Anyway, I'm sorry if I have shattered any of the Candy kids out there's Infantile Views but Coming from Detroit I have seen the Best of the times as Well as the worst, and I can honestly say The Rave as a Party stile is dead! PLain and Simple Dead! but If we all keep a little bit of it within us it will Live on in some way But as long as people acknoladge that There arent Raves anymore We will Get more people from all over the world coming to our Parties, and it will stop all the Closed mindedness of people from other Scenes to the "Party Kids" Again Coming from Detroit I see alot of that as well for like 200 K around it is all Junglist Run as well as in WIndsor it is all ATB, ATC, D Devils, Outthere Brothers, and Daft Punk and along with that Windsor and Detroit's Party Scenes can be summed up with one Bar in WIndsor Called Wired, not that also Signals That the "Rave" is dead anyway My rant is done I could go on longer and longer if I had to but you would just be like "Fuck! Jim Shut The Fuck Up you ass-rapist!" so I will leave you with this... The rave is Dead, The Idea And the Spirit Arent Dead or at least not yet but Lets do our Parts to keep it That way

Youre coming out of left feild with that one if u honestly think Wired is the best party scene in windsor/detroit, and that it is a primarily jungle scene.....lay off the brown acid.

Raves like anything else change with time. You must embrace change if you're going to live on this planet.
BTW, alcohol is a drug.

where you said parties are regulated and raves are not.
It got me thinking, to me that kinda makes sense in a far fetched off the wall way. The word rave developed fromt he underground style of party and no the regulated club style party. Although the time has changed these raves to what they are today, ill admit, they are not the same as even when i started over 3 years ago. Its the fact that raves are so fun and magical that atrracted so many people to bring the scene above ground. Which is good because so many people have been exposed to this magic. But at the same time, you can have something so popular be kept underground. Rave is just different

Psst...hey Rob, i thought you said raves make you a drug addict? if they are so magical and fun, why are you saying that you agree with the people who are trying to take it away from us? And I thought you believed that exposing people to raves is going to have a negatice impact on their lives? Don't YOU read your OWN posts??? Nadine |
