IT'S NOT A RUMOUR!
Ok, I just registered today because I don't party anymore but happened to notice in the Regional News (This Week) an article about WEMF, if anyone is in the Haldimand area and gets this free paper check out page 7 in the June 19th issue. Again it speaks about how Destiny is trying to pull the wool over councillors eyes and are trying to have it again in Dunnville, it has been voted 6-1 not to have it because the last time they had it there, there were to be no performances after 1 am and it went all night, plus other things such as drugs and noise pollution. It is quite a good article and unfortunatly the paper isn't online for you to read, but you can pick one up for free in Caledonia at the news office on Argyle Street.
This is the reason I don't party anymore. Good luck again with WEMF, hope it isn't a mess again for you all. |

Don't worry - we already have our permits elsewhere - we just made a last minute attempt to get our WEMF2000 Dunnville Airport site back... its no big deal, just a shot in the dark to see if they would have us back. This does not effect the event in any way. They wanted a 1am curfew anyways, so we didn't put much effort into it.
