the pins will be setup like this
X.........X
..X....X
.....X
Where the X's are pins, (I use .'s because it gets rid of spaces automatically)
the two outside pins are worth 2 points each, the two middle are 3 points and each, the head pin (front one) is worth 5 points, for a total of 15 points. Strikes and spares work the same way as in 10 pin, and if you foul over the line its a 15 point deduction.
Also, i **believe** in 10 pin you only get 2 balls a frame, if thats the correct terminology, while in 5 pin you get 3 balls a frame, but if you knock all of them down on the last ball its not a spare or strike.
Also, the "sweet" spot for a stirke in 5 pin seems to be hitting either three point and 5 point pin at the same time, that seems to work nicely, usually if you send it straight down the 5 pin you will split or get an ace.
i REALLY wish i could have gone to this, too bad i turn 19 in 4 months
i LOVE bowling!
OHHH also i think a perfect game is a score of 400! I think i used to have an average of like 230 or something as a kid... i don't remember.
