| What is Hullabaloo? |
| Hullabaloo (or affectionally referred to as "Hulla") is a cutting edge dance music promotions company that held 44 world class events from 1997 until 2005 featuring DJs and music playing the latest in underground beats from around the world. Young people from all over North America converged at every Hulla to celebrate this music, culture, fashion and atmosphere not seen elsewhere.
The final Hullabaloo is now behind us, but it's legacy will live on and will forever be the standard all other raves are compared against.

| Who is Hullabaloo? |
| Hullabaloo was started in 1997 by DJ Anabolic Frolic as a way to promote his favourite kind of music and throw events that he would like to attend himself. To this day it's still pretty much a one man operation but now with help from his wife, Robin, and our tireless volunteers. |
| Where does Hullabaloo take place? |
| Hullabaloo events take place in club and concert venues primarily in the Toronto, Ontario, Canada area. The venue for each event is advertised with all promotional materials and listed on the event tickets. |
| When do Hullabaloo events take place? |
| Hulla's generally happen on a Saturday every 2 or 3 months, 4 or 5 times a year. They usually start at 9pm and will run till about 6am. |
| Why is Hullabaloo different from anything else? |
| That's the million dollar question, isn't it? When we started this we never in our wildest dreams imagined it becoming what it has. There definitely is some magic contained within the walls of each party that is very unique to Hullabaloo and to this day has never been captured by anyone else. Hullabaloo patrons are also very dedicated, many of them only attending Hullabaloo parties. We've set many promotional accomplishments, such as being able to throw large successful parties without the use of any flyers! Just straight word of mouth and the internet. No one has ever done that besides us. Our parties defintely aren't for everyone, and if you don't like the music we feature you probably won't have a good time. BUT if you do dig what we do, nothing else will match it! And we're pleased to see that thousands of music lovers love what we do. |
| What do you mean by "underground"? |
| We refer to the term "underground" as meaning "below the mainstream". As in featuring music not heard on the radio or heard at typical night clubs. DJ Culture as a whole is based around the DJ's ability to play never-before-heard music to an appreciative audience. |
| What is the music like? |
| Hullabaloo features several types of different music, but it was built on 'happy hardcore', a style of music from England that has been their backbone of underground dance culture for over a decade. It's quite fast (over 170 beats per minute), but contains lots of uplifting vocals and pianos and creates a very electric atmosphere that is definitely a big part of Hullabaloo's success. Over all, you'll find the music at Hullabaloo hard and happy all night long. |
| What's the average age? |
| A recent online poll on the Hullabaloo site showed 75% of those answered are between the ages of 18 and 25. Even though our parties are available to all ages, we don't recommend those under 16 to attend. |
| I'm a parent, should I let my son/daughter attend? |
| If your son or daughter is 16 years or older and you generally let them attend concerts or other night life we think you have little to worry about. We'll see many parents drop off and pick up their kids at the front door. We've also let parents take a look around the venue if they would like. Also, just because the event runs all night doesn't mean your child couldn't attend with a curfew and come home at a reasonable hour. Generally our headlining DJs perform around 2 however. |
