wemf was good.. so many funny things... people make me laugh.

we found so much shit on the ground.. 30$, full bottle of perfume, a "rave beam"and other things i cant remember now.

if for some reason you were selling something, you might want to check if the money is fake or not.. we found a fake american 20$ bill on the ground.. and then found our friend had a bunch of fake bills..

phlux tent was were is was at... so many good djs..

this wemf was definately better then the last.. but not better then wemf 2000.

Well where should I start?!? I could list off the millions and billions of lil hillarious/sketchy/crazy/fun/terrible times.. but I don’t have a week to type them...

f i r s t: the ride up
fabulous, the easiest 3 day trip up ever, no stress great people (adam, nessa, and will) and arrived at a suitable time. Got there to Kellan and the everyone, met up with Fawn and we all set up our tenting village ~let the raving begin~

f r i d a y: craz-y
crack times were had... we were still clean so that was lovely *high fives cotter for our cleanliness* I spent the night with everyone, dancing, laughing, crazy adventures... the music was ok, the people were better.. although there were a few key people missing... the night was definitly the least sketchy of all for everyone... and I went to bed a tad early to rest and make m body not hate me

beach times Saturday afternoon, fab-u-lous... *tips her hat to Shann for bein’ my parnter in crime* the amount of things that went on this day are actually too much to get into, BUT i will say wemf = drugs and as funny as it was at times...people need to stop when they can still function. Josh the Funky 1 - I love you ! but he was showing off and it took away from the set, you may disagree but I’ve seen him numerous times.. and it was a tad hard to dance to... Dj Assult, hillar, simply hillar. this night for me was about wondering... ohh craziness.. and i didn’t sleep till well into Sunday, but it was worth it, ohhh the stories I have

my wemf weekend started off early thursday... when i woke up at my gf's house... i had to rush back to my place.. and be back at janes for 3pm thursday

got all our shit together... arrived at the ottawa greyhound station at about 6...

we arrived in Toronto at around 12 am

arrival at my parents house 130am

woke up at about 10 friday morning... packed more shit... and went off to canadian tire to get a tent

hitched over to mr kamikazes house.. left for wemf around 6... arrived at about 10

set up our tent in the dark... which we had no idea how to do.. since we baught it that day.. had quite a few laffs...

drank.. got high.. and our wemf saga started

friday night I had a blast.. good music, nice people, and lots of dancing..

saturday afternoon the heat was insane.. yuck.

saturday night didn't go so well.. started off okay.. but then the people behind us had their eye on our tent.. they started asking us stupid questions, and would tap on the tent to see if anyone was inside... so i was too afraid to leave it alone, for the most part.. I wasn't in the mood to get my tent slashed, or get robbed.

The pile of stolen bags building up around the toilets (right beside our tent) was freaking me out too, not to mention depressing. why are people so rotten?

Next year i'm either going for just 2 days (no tent..), or i'm getting a motel room.. Paranoia really ruins a perfectly good weekend.

I definately had more fun in '99, and last year..

Wemf was a blast
Friday we got there around 10:00pm nice and buzzed from the 26er me and my bf split on the way down there.
Then i spent some time in the 19+ area for grooverobbers set and some more drinks. (no drugs for me that night)

Saturday day Me, Kristen, Jean, Thom and Steff all went to Julias house in peterbrough for showers and sleep.

Went back to wemf around 9:00pm Saturday night and got completely BENT. Danced my ass off, ran into some familiar faces and spent about 80% of the night in the Phlux tent.. the other 20% in the jungle tent.

so all in all i had a pretty good time
i wish i would have seen more people i wanted to see though.

I had fun.

I agree that wemf 2k2 didn't beat wemf 2k, but anything was better than last year.

I *heart* toy town, we had the best camping area and everyone was so nice.

I had no idea that sketchiness was abundant or that people were getting robbed left and right, which was good. everyone seemed way less messy than I thought they would be with beer involved and all.

I missed the big proposal dammit.

and I also never really lost myself in anyone's set, there weren't any that stuck out for me really. being from detroit, assault was embarrassing, that was the worst I had ever heard him spin and his comments made me feel dirty. I really liked josh da funky 1 but I only caught the last 10 minutes of his set. oh well, seen him before. I thought simon apex was awesome but he wasn't spinning what I expected him to and I didn't really need a hard set at that point in my eve'. none of the sets were really satisfying except for brisk and I missed most of his set to get earplugs. the hulla tent almost blew my eardrums, I seriously thought I was bleeding out of my ears for a bit and that just wasn't pleasant.

but the people were great, it was nice to see everyone I saw. yay american cheese crew. yay toy town. yay some kid from missouri that I met in line. yay scoot and supaster and finding out that scoot is canadian. fun times.
