Sweeet... Ive been waiting a for Kaos and Simon Apex to grace these parts for a while now. The Syrous stage looks good too. But why no techno this year?
One question: Is this the long weekend in August?

i am quite shock that with such a big sponser that Destiny could not come up with a better line up....nothing against the talent that is there this year...but look no unabomber, no Dominik,no Grimace, i am very glad to see that Dj Mannik made the lineup but come on couldnt there be some diff trance dj's for the main stage...and Techno, breaks, and house in 1 tent like what the hell..even though last years wemf wuz a disaster there wuz a better line up that wuz on the flyers....so i will not be attending wemf this year

i have two live VG tapes one was from hulla 8 (i think) and its VG, and he was pretty good then at for those who know? he was HORRIBLE his scratching just sucks and really why bother with him when since he's left the scene his record collection is a few years old for the most part and who needs to hear all the same old tunes from 3 years ago? i want to hear the newest generation of uk djs than one's who've totally ditched the scene.... Ponder, Uplift, Chris E Manic, HB, Stargazer, these guys all fucking rock and are pushing hardcore in new directions rather than dwelling on the past im just really sick of hearing all the same old vocally stuff, its given hardcore a really bad name and i think its time that we start to move on... not that there's no room for the classics, but its got to be more inthe background if hardcore on the whole will survive.. im stoned and ranting but its true |

The Coors sponsorship was mostly to ensure permits and license for the Beer tent and to make the event more legitimate to prevent the problems faced last year from repeating. Most of the money from it will be used for all the extra advertising that is required by sponsors, thus it doesn't really affect our budget. Hopefully this is just the begining and in the future we will be able secure more sponsors to help with all aspects of the event. |

VG
VG is not coming to play 3 yr. old hardcore trax - Since dominating that scene in the UK rave days of the 90's he has since joined the ranks of the Nukleuz Records label and has become one of their most prolific producers, doing music with the likes of BK, Andy Farley, Dave Randall, Mauro Picotto and others. His music has switched to a more trancey - hard dance style and he is high demand around the world. Nobody on the WEMF bill was booked for past success - everyone on there has something new and exciting to offer RIGHT now!
