I had thought about doing one the first week of july. Had the opera house booked in fact, but cancelled that booking a couple of weeks ago thanks to everyone who complains about that venue.

Whenever it is, I'd love to see Bang!
I don't thing they've ever been over. And they've cut some of the most supafly anthems ever. MCED |

You're just as likely to see The Prodigy at the next Hulla as you would be to see Bang!

Even if Bang did come (which will never happen)...i heard Jo has moved on to "bigger & better" things.
She'd only lip sync anyways... |

A July hulla would be nice, but it's too close to the one that just pasted, and too close to WEMF... so I guess I'll cya all in August!
If something does happen before then, all the better! |

I heard DJ Spock a few weeks ago....amazing...that's all I could possibly say about his set. Aw....Hulla in July...that would've been SO good....rebook the opera house! It's better than no Hulla. =( I, personally, at the moment...would LOVE to see Scott Brown...or Sy. =) mirah |

It's only a matter of time before Hixxy is brought over...
I'm surprised he hasn't already been here this year. WEMF perhaps? |

I'm so pissed about missing Field of Dreams ... all I can say about the next Hulla is:
"The sooner the better! " Hmm, I think it'd be kewl if Scooter was there ... if they're even still around (Ramp rocks!)

I love hullabaloo's! They are the funnest raves ever! We need one soon!!!
FROLIC: You should have kept the one at the opera house, it was so much fun! Just make sure crazy lobby security man won't be there this time... PLEASE! I think everyone agrees with me on this one Kelly

I disagree. I think the opera house security is great.
As for the lobby....well it's NOT a chill out room...it's a lobby. Deal with it. |

well unfortunately, brite, comments to the contrary you've made in the past had a direct connection to my decision to cancel the party. With the bugets being so incredibly tight, a drop in attendance of even only 50-100 would make the difference between the party breaking even and losing thousands. I'm in no position to lose any money, so I had to make the decision that would best protect myself. The Opera House has since been booked by a rock show, so any hope for a july Hulla are all but gone .
I hope the next time people complain about our venue and comment that they probably will skip it or whatever they realise how tenuous Hulla's situation is and not take for granted that it will always be there. |
