Spikey Jungle Moron: well ill repeat myself. Tickets at the door mean tickets at the door you pay as your going in. So that would mean if the doors open at 11 you get tickets at 11. I know its hard to understand things when you read at a grade 8 level.
I hope this clears it up for you, i know i used some words you might not understand. Saffron *original UK dj/mc tease* |

ok ppl wonder why i get mad and bitch. ppl like plasid1.
will explained that phil from phryl is taking all the costs of the hulla dj's and throwing a party. this is so frolic doesnt loose mad cash on plane tickets etc. So by doing this frolic lets him advertize in this thread. read the whole thread before you go make comments you fucking moron. I'll just add that Group Hug is the only party 'officially' sactioned by myself. The promoters have taken on a significant expense by taking on our UK talent and I want to support them the most I can. This board costs me thousands of dollars a year to maintain, and the least I can do is support a friend who is supporting me during a dark time.
See everyone there! |

plasid and others,
even though this is not a hullabaloo party, the promotor is compensating frolic for some of the money that frolic is losing and he is providing a venue for hullabaloo's headliners to play at so that they won't be too disappointed with their trip to canada. they are doing hullabaloo a BIG favour here so it's not unreasonable that they would ask for exclusive advertising rights on the hullaboard. all the promotors advertising in the "other events" forum should remember that hullabaloo is giving them FREE advertising. it is not an automatic right. hullabaloo will provide the advertising but NOT if it interferes with hullabaloo's plans. i hope this makes sense to you. Will,
I have no problem with the deletion of our thread and I understand the reasoning behind it. However, a little heads-up would have been nice (like an email). Last-minute parties are no picnic either. Anyway, best of luck to anyone putting on events this Saturday. What a fiasco! Beaker (for Small Society) |

(from phil, the phryl guy ...)
this is a funhouse event, not a phryl event. to make a long story short, a longtime friend asked for my help and i didn't hesitate to lend a hand. the goal of this party is to raise enough money so that the deejays can get paid what they were promised at hulla. any profit from this party will be donated to help fund an elite lawyer who will be waging war on our behalf in the very near future. this is a dark time for the rave scene. your support is needed and required. cheers, phil. |

this is what i like to see. friends helping friends in their time of need. that's what this scene is supposed to be about.
technosnob and candyraver realizing that, in the grand scheme of this crazy rave scene, we're all on the same team. *hug your neighbour* Klubmasta Will ps. if it isn't obvious, the vibe at this party will be fierce. |

HEllO?
I know for a fact I will be going to this... In no way do I look at this as any kind of loss of quality (other than decorations)... This might prove to be better than what was at first intended to be Hullabaloo... I don't care if this is not a Hullabaloo, in my eyes it is... Once it fills up it's gonna have a Hullabaloo crowd and the Hullabaloo DJ's... What else could we ask for then a small intimate 850 ppl Hulla... For those who've been saying Hullabaloo has become too big well here you go a chance to see it nice and small... This one looks like it will be one to remember... See everyone there... And if I don't get in I will kill someone hahaha... BYe nOW Luka |

this situation has sure brought out people's best and worst sides. i'm not gonna name names cuz this board makes me shy (awww) but i've seen some real stupid posts goin' up in the last li'l while. it's nice to see people like phil stepping in to HELP the scene...not exploit the losses of others.
