This looks like a good sign that things may not actually be that bad. Perhaps we will have to have another I-DANCE rally infront of Queen's Park instead for when they go to legislate our rave parties. You know how the Toronto Youth Committee participated in this issue. Well is their a focus group, or a subcommittee of youth partaking in this issue but at the provincial level? And if there is...is it THROUGH the governemtn, or throught the Progressive Conservative Party (like OPCYA - Ontario PC Youth Association)? "We are watching you." Lite Sabre |

on behalf of the idance water crew, i joyfully proclaim "yee haw!". yes. see, the counsillors didn't mind the whole water crew thing. it obviously didn't effect their votes, wasn't broadcasted on the news, any arrests relating to it are non-existant...so there, the water crew wasn't as bad as all you naysayers seem to think it was.

being the person that didnt like the set of rules at the start... this is a good thing that we got a solid law in place right now. primarily we can cover our asses and tell fantino to go fuck himself. sorry for being so blunt, but he's an asshole.
so now we can say raves are legal, and i hope the sun will stop saying underground. mind you i know they still will say that. im gonna stop now.. i hate the sun and star. lates |

i love the part about the accountability for the number of PDO's.
it's obvious that fantino has something against rave culture, and i really don't understand why. at first i figured it was just his pet project to make him look like a community hero, but now it's plain to most people that he's just being as much of a pain as he can. it's also obvious that he's the one whispering in mel's ear and telling him half-truths about the scene to make us look bad. i wonder what kind of relationship those two have? more importantly, i wonder if fantino has told lastman anything totally false.. i'd pay to see lastman embarrass himself by spouting off in his usual manner and saying something totally off. maybe it'd teach him to think for himself a little more often... that is, if he's capable of that. and to Klubmasta Will, congradulations on a great interview on CityTV. you made all the points that i was hoping would be covered, and you made them well. you didn't let yourself be pushed around my Rhomer at all. Much respect. |

well I am happy about the victory
you ppl did a good job BUtTTT>>>> I THOUGHT I dance was suppose to be a 1 time rally not a yearly event this suks and it ruins all the underground music in toronto. first was the culture now its the music this blows. [This message has been edited by rave2grave (edited August 03, 2000).] |
