How much money do you think THAT would cost? You'd be better off lobbying Slammin' Vinyl to bring over the Anabolic Frolic. I know you guys got a shot at seeing DJ Frisky tear it up a couple years back, now the father of North American 'ardcore? You know you'd love it. MCED |

I'm just not sure what the chances of Frolic coming over here are... oh well, at least I get the chance to hear some of his mixes etc... over the net. But still wouldn't beat the real thing

Yeah.. the only thing I'd add to that would be Yoji Biomehanika. He's crazy insane Nu-nrg/hardcore, bordering on Happy Anthems, from Tokyo. Toronto would love him and his energy. I'd love to see Sy and Unknown, Vinylgroover and then maybe a midwest us theme, with DJ Spree and Cloudskipper. LEAVE BRISK AT HOME. The man's a degenerate slimeball pervert, in my own humble opinion. BeatPhreak |

I'd like to see some people we've never had the chance to see.
I understand Nicky Blackmarket throws down some of the very sickest Oldskool sets in existance... and if you rub him right I'm sure he'd throw down a hardcore->jungle extended set... just bring in a superstar MC like Whizzkid or Ethos to back him up. MCED |

Boo for American DJ's. The only time a US headliner will draw people is if there's a UK headliner too. Spree's all well and good, but won't get near as many people as Dougal or Nicky Blackmarket or something.

Dj Virus and Mc Gobstoppa (just because the two of them together makes for some of the most interesting sets i've heard)

Sad but true... HOWEVER... how do you explain the phenomenon that is Paulina Taylor?? I don't know man, speaking for myself, if I saw a lineup with some td0t locals and a US headliner, I'd prolly hit it... some names come to mind: AC Slater Bezerker Cloudskipper Paulina Taylor Simon Apex Valerie Sparks ... and on and on... |

First of all, if my memory is correct there haven't been a whole lot of American headliners to really claim this. True, a UK headliner will always attract. But show some respect for American DJs. Secondly, I hate when people classify artists by their nationality. This is a universal sound, and we all have to work together. That's really all I have to say..

I didn't mean it as boo as in you guys suck, I meant it as in boo to headliners being U.S. DJ's... the hullabaheadliners have always included UK DJ's, and call me stuck in the past if you like, but they are second to none, and that's the way it should stay. Plenty of other promoters bring up American DJ's to play...
