well...what a fuckin wicked time
well, me and my friends got in line at about 9:00 maybe, and got in pretty soon after the doors opened. I was pretty impressed with everyones set. heart of gold was by far the bestest song they played! frolic's set was spectacular! yay frolic!!! I met the bestest guy! he was such a sweetie. we spent almost all night together. we were buddies. The party was sooo wonderfully beautiful!! There was nothing missing, or nothing there that shouldn't have been. (on my part, anyway) the only bad parts about the night was 1) my pen exploded in my purce and i had black shit all over everything and 2) there was absolutly no fuckin' toilet paper in the damn girls bathroom all night!!! what was up with that? that was pretty shitty. besides from those minor piss off's (which had nothing to do with hulla) the party was fuckin' awesome!!! Congrats frolic! oh yah, who ever played 'Right Here Waiting', well that was the best!! I met soo many new people there, and i seen so many people from the hulla in feb. That was nice! *u know who u r*
any-hoo byeeee comander keen, i think i might have met u, do u have a pic? |

Well...i just woke up after going to my first hulla...first party actually and man was it great. i went with my bf and alot of friends and met alot of people too. you are all wonderful ppl and i can't wait to go again. that was one of the best experiences i have ever had...the music was great, all of it, and i couldn't stop smiling. i especially liked heart of gold, but that might be because my wonderful bf sang it to me...by far the sweetest thing he as ever done...thanks to all of you who made it so amazing, i couldn't have asked for a better first party...and i can't wait to go to the next one!!

Mutha F'n WOW!!
What an excellent party,
Frolic I cant thank you enough (I think you know that cuz I came up to you several times that night). I had SOO much fun. I realy liked the fact that I would be on the message board and see ppl and go to Hulla and say "HEY I KNOW YOU FROM THE BOARD!" (Commander Keen, Ade & ~Sketch Monkey~, EN, Yumm-E, Sliz, and all the rest *u know yourselves*) It was great. I really Enjoyed DJ Friskys set, that was a great time had by all. And Frolic getting up on stage and letting everyone know how much this all means made the night 10x better. I met soo many cool ppl there that I had met at past hullas and some for first time (hey Tadd) Although my friend that usually goes to hulla with me said this was his last ( ) It wont be mine! I shall return. ((Beware tha Kangaroo)) -=Flyer_Boi=- http://www.phlux.8k.com P.S.-I will put pics of This Hulla and all Future Hullas on my site as soon as I get em Developed. Well, it is now 6:49pm and I just got home. lol
The party was amazing, the vibe was incredible, and just to make it even better MC JD & MC KWIK were wikkid as they busted out thier rhymes to the sounds of Anabolic Frolic Parties like last night are what remind me why I love partyin so much. I met so many cool people and couldn't have asked for n e thing to go better. The only downfalls that I can think of are when Mikie got busted (but he eventually got in), and when the party ended. I hope that everyone had as much fun as I did. JD p.s. --> What did everyone think of my baby blue bath robe? |

and many when Capital J came on.. I must say I couldn't keep my eyes off his hands.. he was cutting it up hardcore.. sweet set. unfortunatly we had to leave early.. but I had a great time thanks again Chris for throwing this event.. and thanks every on for just being there! Oh Jordan... you just wanted to hang out with me. Alright folks, I'm not sure how long this is gonna end up, but I got all sorts of reviewin to do.. We got in just after 11, and I was really sad to miss Wolf, yet again!! But all was good when I did get in, minus having to check my bag.. My pockets were so full loaded of shit.. Anyway.. Set reviews.. Silver1 - Really enjoyable set, danced my fOOkin ass off! It was amazing to hear him play that Technohead track at the end.. I was so fuckin hyped to hear it! Elixir - PHAT! Just some awesome crazy choonz, once again.. I danced mah ass off.. <-- My legs are gettin tired. Capital J - I've seen him spin a few times, and this was the most energy I've seen him spin with ever, and he played Dis Da Program... I went fuckin nuts to hear it.. Anabolic Frolic - Well, what can I say.. It was Chris' party, and his set made my night.. Of course I creamed my pants when he dropped Heart Of Gold, and just the fookin crowd at that point made my night.. as for his speech, I had goosebumps, and I did cry, yes that's right I'm a pussy, I cried.. Frisky - Mmmmm... and I repeat.. Mmmmm... Subsonic Chronic - As always, he never disappoints, who knew the WWF put out such amazing DJs.. D-Minus - Not as enjoyable, I've seen Donny spin WAY better sets than this one, but all in all, it wasn't horrible.. Spice - We left halfway through, but the track selection, and just the way the first half of that set was put together, it's unexplainable, just amazing.. As for the rest, Security was really pushy at the start of the night, but once I talked to a few of them, they really lightened up, and made the night that much better.. I really liked when the chill room balcony opened up, it was quiet enough for AWESOME conversations, I met some really wicked people, even got mah book signed a few times! The vibe, as was the last GH, was just off the charts amazing, I haven't felt anything like it since the last one, and again.. Chris' speech gave me chills.. Mmmmmmm... Watch out, I'm gonna rip off Corey.. Fatty's Rating 163/10 Fatty Matty McPLuR

mwah! getting to spend some quality time with you, Ian and especially James (finally) is what made my night too love you hon wish all parties could be the same... i wish we had stayed for all of Spice's set... We got there a little later than i would have liked, but after the first getting settled, and dealing with cranky boyfriend syndrome, the rest of the night was a blast! My favorite points would be all the happy moments with James, Ian comforting me when I was sad, and Pete spinning Bust a Move (sweet i NEED that track!) Thanks to everyone who helped make my night (Joanne? don't forget to get in touch hon.) I regret not getting to hear the one song i so desperately needed to hear (stay with me.) that's about it, sarah |

Yes, the bathrobe was very comfortable and it did keep me at a perfect temperature As for the the idea, I guess I just came to the conclusion that it would really trip me out if I saw someone wearin a robe at a party. The next thing I knew I was puttin on my Robe and headin down to Hulla! I had a great time on Friday and just wanna thank everyone that went for creating an amazing vibe JD |

Shiat man... I remember seeing you there, especially heading back to the car after the party... I saw you crossing Queen st. and I remember thinking to myself "Price of rave tickets $20, price of water at the party $3, seeing a raver at 7:00 in the morning walking across Queen street in a bathrobe.... Priceless!
It was just such a surreal scene... Something that goes against all norms of society... Ok, now I am just being weird... Great party, amazing vibe, awesome friendly crowd, no other place on the earth I'd rather be... -D
