This is exactly the same situtation i'm in, I have been on this board in years, until now and for only this ticket issue. And even after PM the Admins, I still get no response.

What I don't like about this whole situataion is that there is no communication with someone who is at the top level, the people whom I've paid money to for a product that I have not received. That is my issue. If I don't get to go that's fine, I just want my money back.
It is fustrating, living in the same city as the seller is why I chose to have the tickets mailed to me, I know it will only take 1-2 days to get the tickets, and I'd prefer to have the tickets in my hand shortly after payment.

Yeah, I see where you are coming from. I understand that people get sick, I understand things happen, but I sent the money order back in March and now its July and still no tickets. There are plenty of businesses out there that Hullabaloo could have used to outsource everything related to ticketing and order processing, but they chose to keep the commission for themselves and perform all these tasks in house, which is fine, but with that comes responsibility to provide decent customer service like communication with the customer in a timely manner.

If the tickets aren't going to come, my money should just be refunded.

Coulda woulda shoulda. If I'd known what a hassle all this was going to be, and what an insane amount of work, and that I'd be doing 95% of the party-related work by myself in addition to raising my kid, and that a lot of stuff I need Frolic to help me with would become a Big Issue because he's busy with his career (and I'm then fucked because I can't do these things alone - our Paypal-without-Hullastore customers are one good example here, I had no idea they even existed until they started PMing me, and even then I couldn't get Frolic to get me a list of their names because he didn't have time to compile a list, so there may still be more who haven't PMed me yet and I don't yet know of their existence) I would have said no way.

Sorry if I'm sounding bitter, I'm just really fucking frustrated. So many things have been oddly done - for example, Frolic setting all the tickets to "Completed shipped" as a matter-of-course with the expectation that they'd be going out within the next few days, but then that makes it useless for me because I can't go back and see if a particular order actually DID get shipped or if it was overlooked, since they ALL say they were shipped. All this work got punted onto me, he isn't answering emails, and then I have to deal with people's pent-up frustration over not having their emails answered or being told two different things. FUCK.

He's really busy with his hypnosis career and he travels a lot, I understand that. I really do, and I have empathy for the fact that he feels overworked and stressed. But I'm busy too, raising a super-high-energy three year old and dealing with ongoing illnesses stretching over the past six months. If I'd known going into this that I was going to end up doing the lion's share of the work, I'd never have agreed to do it.

Did I already say "FUCK"? Yes. Well, I'm going to say it again. FUCK.

Yes, the ball got dropped. I'm sorry. I am one single human being and I am running around like hell trying to get everything sorted out before the party and I am sick and overstretched and just as pissed-off as any of you (although for different reasons). I am typing this and trying to get through my PMs while my son sits on my lap and tries to yank my hands away from the keyboard because he doesn't want to lose me to the computer.

I'm actually a little calmer now (after I stormed into the bedroom this morning and threw a several-minute shit-fit at poor groggy Frolic, he decided to take Moo to the Science Centre and give me several "alone time" hours, which I spent sleeping the sleep of ). I should know better than to respond to messages when I've had only a couple hours sleep. ;P

My usual instinct is to say, "Thank you all so much, but I've got it all under control" except that it's already pretty plain that I don't really at the moment! My best friends are flying in from California; one is arriving Thurs night and he'll be staying at our place, so he'll be around to help. But Kyle, I may have something you could help with, I'll PM you. And I'll keep the rest of you in mind. Although I expect to have 99% of things sorted by then! It's just the next week that's really going to continue being crazy-making.
